So four weeks into the season and what do we know so far? Well not much really apart from that the NBA Champions will come from the Western Conference - but then again we already knew that...To all the people jumping on the Sixers' bandwagon I have this to say - "Get an inside presence and then we'll talk. Oh yeah and Theo Ratliff and Matt Geiger don't count against Shaq, TD et al."...I wonder if you combined the Bulls, Hawks and Clippers into one team they would be any good. Probably not...So Dik just how badly do you want to get out of Atlanta? Bad enough to go to New York? Really?...Speaking of New York did anyone really think that the Sprewell/Houston/Rice axis was going to work? Kobe is putting up MJ like numbers and for the moment Shaq seems to be putting up with this - it won't last I tell you!!!...Only once in the history of the league has one team been as dependant on one player as the Raptors are on Vince Carter, but then again that player was Micheal Jordan and that team did win six NBA titles - can't see it happening this time...The Wizards traded Cherokee Parks and someone I never heard of to the Clips for Tyrone Nesby - talk about a massive trade, this could affect the whole balance of power in the league - Parks may just make the Clips a worse team than the Wiz. I don't mean to go on but why are the Hawks, Wiz, Bulls and Clips allowed to play in this league? Aren't the CBA looking for teams? The USBL? The new ABA? Or how about we move them to England and see how they do over here...Hey Mark Cuban, are you crazy or something? Do you have any idea how badly Karl Malone could beat you? Better spend some of those billions on a personal bodyguard...Isn't it about time somebody signed Dennis Rodman? What is up with the Heat? I know they lost Zo but that's still no excuse for having a losing record in the East. Maybe Ced Ceballos is the answer - not often you hear that is it?...Everyone thought Paul Westphal was fired because of his spat with the Glove, turns out Vin 'Big Boned' Baker was the cause - do you remember when Vin was a good player? No, neither do I...I think the Magic need to employ some better medical staff - didn't they even bother to find out if Grant Hill could actually play before they signed him to a seven-year deal. Doc Rivers is in the same situation he was in this time last year, except now he doesn't have Chucky Atkins or Ben Wallace - oh well there's still all that cap-room, oh no, wait, that was last year, oh dear. And finally I can catergorically state that the San Antonio Spurs will win the NBA Championship this year, mind you last season I catergorically stated that the Lakers would never win a title with Shaq and Kobe on the same team.
